Please note the following before you dig in:

All Samuel Gawith tobaccos are made according to centuries of pipe tobacco blending and manufacturing tradition and expertise. The ingredients are 100% naturally, and also the scenting or flavoring substances are on a 100% natural basis (no chemical and synthetic additives).

We are proud to operate as the biggest online outlet for these fine pipe tobaccos. We currently stock 30 of them, and more will be added as demand arises.

The ingredient tobaccos of each blend are kept a well-guarded secret by Samuel Gawith. That is the reason why the ingredients are not mentioned anywhere here. However, we can say that: (1) all Samuel Gawith tobaccos, offered here, are made of only Virginias, predominantly flue-cured African ones, and (2) most tobaccos are made of two Virginias, and the difference in the final product lies in the manufacuring process (the amount of humidity, heat and pressure applied to the tobacco).

On behalf of Synjeco and all the pipe smoking community, I would like to express my gratitude for and appreciation of all the detailed and honest details about his tobaccos Mr. Graham Forrest kindly provided us with. We could see all procedures at the factory and the "secrets" of the blends becomes shared with us. So we know that what we offer here are only first class hand made tobaccos (see also above).

You can get more information on the Samuel Gawith's own Web Site, at: www.samuelgawith.co.uk.

The "Strength" declared and the "Comment" provided are based on a purely personal perspective. However, all tobacco have been tried over and over again over a long period of time. We never recommend (or even sell) a tobacco we have never tried (and often enjoyed).

We strongly believe that it's important to see a tobacco before buying it. That is why we offer you photos of each single tobacco.

Samuel Gawith tobaccos come in 500g (approx.1.1 lb) packages (not vacuum-sealed). So, if you opt for that amount, or more, you'll receive the tobacco in the original factory packaging with a 10% discount. The discount does not apply to Twist and Curly Cut tobaccos (and obviously not to the tinned tobaccos).

If you ever try any of these tobaccos and would like to add a comment (or object to one), please don't hesitate to contact Daniel.
