Pöschl Tabak continues along its successful course. In spite of an increased competition, the family-owned company has been able to consolidate its market position as the leading independent German manufacturer of nasal tobacco, fine cut, pipe tobacco and cigarettes and as distributor of the group's own cigarillos.
Pöschl is the undisputed number one in the sale of snuff tobacco with a market share of 94 percent in Germany and about 50 percent internationally. Pöschl products constitute a share of roughly 5 percent of the total EU tobacco market (excluding cigarettes and cigars).
